About Park Meadows Country Club in Park City, Utah
Park Meadows is the only private, member-owned course actually in the town of Park City — minutes from the most exclusive communities, built for the quick after-work nine as much as the full round. Jack Nicklaus designed it in the early '80s; a full renovation in 2011 brought it up to date.
Players get fast, fair greens and slopes that aren't overly demanding, on well-designed holes that reward repeat play. The course walks easily — the close proximity of tees and greens keeps the pace up and makes the round an enjoyable stroll. The 2011 renovation was the real turning point: it pulled out the wall-to-wall turf of the '80s and reintroduced native grasses, framing the holes better while saving on maintenance and water.
What Stands Out
Being in town is the whole point — members drop in for a round, lunch, a workout, a swim, or just time on the range without leaving Park City. For a club this convenient, the golf holds up better than it has any right to.
