About the Silver Course at Soldier Hollow in Midway, Utah
The Silver is the more relaxed half of Soldier Hollow's 36 holes — same Gene Bates pedigree, same Olympic-venue setting, but a gentler walk. Less elevation change, fewer forced carries, and a routing that's a favorite for players who want a beautiful round without the championship teeth.
Where the Gold tests you, the Silver invites you to enjoy the walk. It still offers plenty of interest and the same sweeping Heber Valley and Wasatch views, but the design is more forgiving — a routing many players prefer to walk. At public rates, the two-course facility is among the best golf values in Utah.
What Stands Out
The Silver is the choice when you want a beautiful, low-stress round; its tougher sibling, the Gold Course, is right there when you want the full test. For current rates and tee times, check the Golf Packages & Tee Times page.
